Check Twice

Washington consumer health data privacy policy

Last updated:

This policy applies to consumer health data, as Washington’s My Health My Data Act defines it, that FusedFrames Technologies Ltd collects through Check Twice. For us, that is biometric data: images of your face and the measurements of your face made from them.

What we collect and why

  • Scans and quick photos of your face and the photo of your face on your photo ID: to verify that you are who you say you are, sign you in and confirm it is you before actions that need it. We compare them with each other and with your face photo.
  • Your face photo: one photo of your face, kept so we can recognise you later and shown to the people on Check Twice who can see you’re verified, unless you hide it. The photo they see is the one from your sign-up, or a newer one from signing in on a new phone, a Reverify or Retake face photo.

Where it comes from

From you, through your phone’s or a browser’s camera and your photo ID.

What we share and with whom

  • Whether you passed a check: with the people who asked you to verify and those who can see you’re verified on Check Twice.
  • Your face photo: with the people on Check Twice who can see you’re verified, including anyone who opens a link of yours that shows it, unless you hide it from them.

We have no affiliates.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • confirm whether we collect or share your consumer health data, and access it, including a list of everyone we have shared it with and how to contact them;

  • have it deleted.

To use these rights, email legal@fusedframes.com, or delete your account in the app (Account, then your name, then Delete account, under Leave) or at check-twice.com/delete. We reply within one month. If we turn down your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision or emailing legal@fusedframes.com, and we will answer within 45 days. If you are unhappy with the outcome, you can contact the Washington State Attorney General.
